Dr. Sandra Iroakazi is a Professor of Digital Health and Information Communication Technology at Algonquin College, Canada. She holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, and Computer Engineering.
A professional engineer and serial entrepreneur with over 24 years of extensive experience in entrepreneurship and innovation, having started her first company at age 19, Prof. Iroakazi is passionate about creating innovative pathways to help youth and women entrepreneurs reach their potential and compete globally.
She has held senior level positions in both public and private sectors in Africa, Europe, and North America including the ICT Council of Canada, where she managed Canada-wide projects in eHealth and Digital Media.
Prof. Iroakazi exudes a strong passion for strategic leadership, science, technology, and innovation, and how to apply them as change drivers in different economic sectors.
